I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up!
Now fifty-five I am transformed!My journey has just begun.
A burning flame of creativity has been with me since childhood.
Being a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother are a few of my roles.

The creative portal is attached to my residence out in rural Illinois on a mini-farm. Sometimes I teach art but most of the time I am trying to capture my visions and create them. Trust me, there will never be enough lifetimes to manifest them all.

My major is a BA in Interior Design, Minor in Art & Minor in Architecture.

Reiki and Mandalas have influenced my work. They have enabled my physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological growth connection.

I do Reiki-ssage from my home studio. It is an ancient Japanese technique that promotes relaxation and healing.

I am a certified Mandala Facilitator from Judith Cornell Ph.D.

This process used in many ancient cultures taught me to see inner truth of my art spirit.

I have for years and do continue to explore many techniques combining the unique and usual. There have been many mediums along the way, however glass has held my passion for fifteen years. It is one in which there is very little waste along with extreme flexibility. Creating a montage of items from simple to complex using lead and foil techniques, mosaic, sculpture and collage, and fusing.

My original & innovative work ranges from anything made in glass… small gifts to large focal pieces, which can be used for both commercial & residential applications.

I enjoy experimenting and continue to work from traditional perspective as well as limit testing medium contradictions. Attention to detail as well as structural execution and use of the rainbow colors have come together from years of experience creating the unusual and unique. Welcome to my passion.

I do art…because I must! It is flowing from every cell in my body.

This journey has been a creative and spiritual process inspired by testing limits. Not only limits of mediums but of myself. The power of symbols, light & learning what I already know influences my work on a cellular level.
